Piaget and Vygotsky

Piaget and Vygotsky are two theorists who had terrific views on children and education. Vygotsky believed that children learned from the atmosphere around them. He also believed that children can learn if teachers know their zone of proximal development. Piaget believed that children go through four stages of cognitive development. I must say that Vygotsky and Piaget were right on the mark. Children learn from what they see and what is introduced to them. As teachers, we have to find different methods to educate children. Vygotsky does not discuss the stages of devlopment as Piaget, but they both believed in the education of children.

Technology Favorites

In today's society, technology is growing everyday. As educators, we have to keep up with the latest trends. There are many new technologies that I am interested in. I love the iPad, smatphones, and the kindle fire. I also like the nook tablet. My favorite is the kindle fire. It allows you to access magzines, books, and apps. It would be great gift for children that love to read. The kindle fire gives them an unlimited access to books of all genres. The kindle fire is great for children of all ages. Young students have access to children's novels and educational games. The kindle fire is sort of like a book that contains many more books.
